Quotation | We recognise that he is a man with a broad horizon, who knows about world events and literature, not just our little Slovenian one, and from this perspective he may have judged our literature from a global point of view, but in doing so he forgot everything I mentioned above. That is why he has wronged many! Well, we'll forget that, we're used to it. The fact that he favours Zupančič, Zofka, Cankar was to be expected for anyone who knows the young Slavic quartet: just one poet, one writer, one female writer and one critic! |
