Miss Yonge did develop a big productivity, and her novels were especially some decades ago much red and liked, especially among young people, to whom they because their pure, good spirit are very suitable. The most popular among her works is probably \'The heir of ?\', it was published 1853 and later come out as a Swedish translation. Of the other stories can be named \'the Little Duke\', \'Dynevor Terrace\', both translated to Swedish, \'Heartsease\', etc, miss Yonge has also written historical works for young people.
