['The text in the newspaper Nya pressen 20.12.1895 says:" Sadly has today\'s christmas literature only one historical description from the 10th century, Lille Hertigen by Miss Yonge, writer of the famous "Arfvingen till Radclyffe". Writer handles the Norman duke Richard, in the history known as Richard Longshanks, childhood when he was taken to french court after his father William Longsword was during a peace negotiation sinisterly murdered by duke Arnulf of Flanders. Miss Yonge is certainly no Walter Scott or Ingeman, but she narrates interestingly and free. The tone is too lecturing, but the quick tempo helps with this defect." JWfeb16']
