['The article in Kirjastolehti 9-10/1918 says: "There are many books translated from the known American female writer, and \'Pikku miehiä\' is an excellent addition. Professor Baehr and his wife grow in their home besides their two own children a big group of children of relatives and friends, and even poor orphans. Professor teaches the children, but at the same time his nobel wife educates them to become real men and women. This is an excellent proof of the impact of love, patience and effort to understand the children\'s nature. That\'s why the school of Plumfield is a fine teaching for educators and parents as well. For the young it gives a lot of fun and educating reading. A very recommendable book, and even the price isn\'t high." JWaug16']
