Bandoninia is the author of - De vita Radegundis reginae lib. II, cap. 18: «Stabat quandoque nocte ante cellulam suam, corde et ore cursum decantans.» Sic habet vetus codex Nic. [Source: Juretus, Francius; Observationes] - 1. Dominabus sanctis meritorum gratia decoratis Dedimiae abbatissae, vel omni congregationi gloriosae dominae Radegundis Baudonivia [Al., Bandonivia, Bandomina] humilis omnium. [Source: Venantius Fortunatus; Vita S. Radegundis Reginae] Talvj writes about her in her bio-bibliographical compilation. Talvj states in this compilation that it is not sure if Bandonina is of Romanic or Frankish origin. If she was of Frankish origin, she would be the first Germanic woman writing a book "*De vita Radegundis reginae lib. II" (see reception)
