Came from Puerto Rico according to BWN (in article about her husband Jacques Henrij Abendanon). Did not perhaps spent time in the Netherlands, but seems to be known for Dutch correspondence between her and Raden Ayu Kartini, a well known Indonesian women's rights pioneer.
