Writer, teacher and wife of president Kaarlo Juho Ståhlberg. Founded the organisation "Pelastakaa lapset" (Save the children). JWjun16 (Vaasa, 1870 - Helsinki, 1950). Première présidente de la république de Finlande. C'est en suédois qu'elle écrit ses premiers romans, puis elle change de langue à partir de Dimanche (1922), consacré à son fils adoptif ; elle a également publié une biographie de la célèbre bienfaitrice finlandaise Mathilda Wrede.
