Daughter of a government official, she received a careful upbringing and spoke six languages. She was also an accomplished musician and needlewoman.
Died of Tuberculosis.
Author and translator, involved in setting up the 'English club' in Kolozsvar/Cluj and promoted English culture. She also had a literary salon in her parents' house.
