Hedvig Gebhard was along founding Women's Association Unioni. She had studied in the university in Stockholm and later she assisted her husband, professor Hannes Gebhard, in his research. Gebhard also worked as the anonymous editor of the Swedish version of the magazine Pellervo for 20 years. Later she was a member of the parliament 1907-1909 and 1919-1929. She was also a member of the editorial board of the magazine Kotiliesi. JWmay14
