[AvB, febr 2008] Acquainted with Spiegel, Bredero, Hooft (especially), Huygens, Barlaeus, Vondel Bredero wanted to marry her, but father Roemer Visscher did not agree (see Jonckbloet 17e eeuw 1, p.88). Not all of her work has been preserved. Of a translation of Tasso's La Gerusalemme liberata only one strophe has survived.
