Venny Soldan-Brofeldt was a very versatile artists: she painted, drew, sculpted, designed furniture textiles and jewelry. She studied in Academie Colarossi, Paris, and in Stieglitz art school, St. Petersburg. Most famous she is of her illustrations for children’s books and magazines. She was married with the famous author Juhani Aho (Brofeldt). Venny Soldan-Brofeldt was an exceptional woman because she continued to paint after the birth of her children. Jwapr14
