Born in Larvik. She was the daughter of tobacco manufacturer Johan Christian Bruun and Lovise Fredrikke Fabricius. In 1835 she married merchant Paulus Mathias Fredericus Flood. Became a widow and remarried in 1849 to pastor in Stryn, Hans Henrik Bøcher Sartz.
Wrote Children's books.
