*Yearsley was rescued from desitution by the charity of Hannah More, who "discovered" her poetic talents and raised a subscription for her first volume of poetry. Thereafter, her writing furnished the family with the resources for a fairly comfortable life, despite a fallout with More over the profits of her first volume of poetry.(FScottJuly12.)
