A niece, Everdina, lived in Lausanne, married to a Mingard (protestant minister), in Beaulieu Castle near Lausanne. Cf. mentions in Charriere, OC vol. II. 3 april 1773 Belle meets Mingard (p. 301, 587); 14 juli 1784 her husband writer her that Jacques Necker has hired Beaulieu (p. 418, 628).

Wanted to become a writer, but only wrote her journal, in French, of which the years 1786-1795 and 1796-1805 have survived (kept in the national archives of The Hague).
