The library of the Fries Museum in Leeuwarden keeps a copy of a catalogue of a * 'verzameling van vrouwelijke handwerken en verder voorwerpen van kunstvlijt, welke te Leeuwarden op den 29 en 30 maart 1831 in het openbaar zullen worden verloot [...] ten voordele van het vaderland.' Het geheel staat onder bestuur van mevrouw G.C. Vermehr, geb. Brouwer, fransche stads-kostschoolhouderesse te Leeuwarden.

* ['collection of female needlework and other objects of fine arts, which will be raffled in public in Leeuwarden on 29 and 30 March 1831 [...] for the benefit of the homeland.' Under direction of Mrs. G.C. Vermehr, b. Brouwer, keeper of a French boarding school in Leeuwarden.]
