Kersti Bergroth had clergys both in her mother’s and father’s side. She made the matriculation examination and studied in the university. She became M.A. 1910. Bergroth was a verbal talent and could use six languages and wrote in Finnish, Swedish, German and Karelian dialect. She wrote 70 books during her career.
