Mimmi Bergh was the daughter of Julius Immanuel Bergh, a pedagog and Lutheran minister. Mimmi Berg worked as a teacher and pricipal of a girls' school, and underlined that girls should learn to think, too. She wrote emansipatory literature. Bergh was also one of the founders of the deaconesess’ institution in Oulu. One of her spheres of influence was jail, where she worked as a teacher. Jwapr14 / VPCdec24
