Mandi Granfelt graduated as a teacher but didn’t teach for a long time before she got married. Marriage, which ment leaving behind her career, was a big decision for her. She became a mother of seven but didn’t quit her social work. She was active in the Raittiuden ystävät (Friends of temperance) and organized temperance eduation for schools. She also wrote a lot of edifying literature and become later very active in the White Ribbon –movement. Jwapr14
