Voiture, qui logeoit en mesme logis que la mere, predit que cette petite fille auroit beaucoup d'esprit, mais qu'elle seroit folle. La petite verolle n'a pas contribué à la faire belle; hors la taille, elle n'a rien d'agreable, et à tout prendre, elle est laide; d'ailleurs, à sa mine, vous ne jugeriez jamais qu'elle fust bien sage. [..] Elle a une facilité estrange à produire; les choses ne luy coustent rien, et quelquefois elle rencontre heureusement. Tous les gens emportez y ont donné tste baissée, et d'abord ils l'ont mise au-dessus de Mlle de Scudery et de tout le reste de femelles. [ etc...] (éd.
