Elviira Willman studied in the university in Helsinki and also in Sorbonne. She started early to do theatre, especially translations of plays. Willman became a passionate socialist. In her own plays she underlined the flaws of a woman’s life. She also wrote articles and worked as an editor. During the war 1918 Willman and her husband and son fled to Russia. Later Willman and her husband ended up in a conflict with the central committee of the communist party and they were executed. Jwapr14
